It is becoming significantly more acceptable to discriminate against and silence Asian people. Hate crimes towards Asian Americans have increased by 150% in the past year due to the stereotypical mindsets put by the media against Asian people. Moreover, standing up against violence and the normalized hate towards Asians all over the world is of most importance as of right now.
RACISM
What causes poverty and what can we do to prevent it? This article covers numerous points regarding the topic of poverty. From sexism to lack of education, various factors are the reason for many people struggling with poverty today. It’s imperative to know how we can prevent and spread awareness on such a neglected issue. Even by donating, empowering women, using our knowledge for good, or going on a much larger scale by improving living conditions, helping farmers, and providing accessible education, we can make a difference for those struggling with poverty.
POVERTY
Mental health within adolescents is a subject most chose to ignore, however it is a growing and truly relevant issue that needs to be further addressed. Teenagers go through many hard transitions in life physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Understanding the way the media, as well as other factors, influence the mental health of a teenager is something that needs to be recognized. By fighting together as a society as well as spreading awareness, we don’t have to hide from mental health issues any longer, rather we can talk about them.
